TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - WCTV is Tallahassee and southwest Georgia’s first television station, officially signing on September 15, 1955.

To celebrate, WCTV is also hosting a Meet and Greet on Thursday, September 18, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Thomas County Chamber of Commerce at 401 S. Broad Street, Thomasville, Ga.
