York Region Public Health is notifying the public of a possible measles exposure connected to a confirmed case of the virus in Vaughan.

Anyone who has visited the following locations at the times listed may have been exposed, the agency said in a media release Thursday.

Kids Club Toronto at 3377 Bathurst St., Toronto, between 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sept. 12.

Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital Emergency Room at 3200 Major Mackenzie Drive W., between 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 15 to 12:35 a.m. on Sept.16.

Anyone who may have been exposed should watch for symptoms for 21 days.

Symptoms of measles include high fever, cough, runny nose, red or watery eyes and a red rash that typically begins on the head or neck and spreads downward to the chest, arms and legs.
