PEORIA, Ill. – A bag of goodies for the kids at OSF Children’s Hospital is part of the legacy of a late Dunlap High School student.

The Tessa Sutton Sunshine Cart traveled its way through the hospital’s halls on Thursday, with Sutton’s family helping hand out books, toys, treats, and more. The bags also have items for adults, such as phone chargers.

Tessa Sutton passed away in 2023 after being diagnosed with sarcoma cancer. Tessa received an outpouring of support from the community as she battled the disease.

Her brother, Caleb Aeschliman, says the cart is a small way to leave a big impact.

“It doesn’t take a ton of effort or coordination to get the cart around the hospital, but it can be the difference between someone having a good day and a bad day,” Aeschliman said. “It means t
