A Fremantle skate park will be closed so the Public Transport Authority can claim back a carpark.
The City of Fremantle announced last week its lease agreement with the PTA for part of the Beach Street carpark would end this week.
As part of the lease terms, all of the skate park fixtures must be removed to restore the site to its original condition prior to occupation.
A PTA spokesperson said the site would be used to help commuters during the closure of the Fremantle Traffic Bridge early next year. The city was given several months notice of the lease ending.
