MADISON COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - At about noon Thursday, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office reported on Facebook that they apprehended one of three suspects involved in a vehicle theft.

By about 2 p.m., sheriff’s deputies said they arrested another suspect, but are still searching for the other.

The search began in the area around Southwest Phillips Trail, Southwest Poncho, Ray Charles and the railroad track in Greenville, according to officials. They found that one female and two males were operating a stolen truck. The trio abandoned the truck and fled on foot during the search.

MCSO officials established a perimeter and were able to bring a female suspect into custody, as established in the earlier Facebook update.
