TORONTO — Nick Robertson is buzzing in mid-September, sniping goals and striving to earn a spot on the Toronto Maple Leafs roster.

He is frustrated by healthy scratches.

“No,” Robertson said in his first interview since signing another one-year, prove-it deal with the franchise that drafted him in 2019 and against whom he filed for arbitration a few months back.
