Sam Lynch was walking home with his girlfriend and two close friends in King West Village last month when, in a split second, his life dramatically changed.
In the early morning hours of Aug. 8, the 33-year-old man was shot in the head and seriously injured.
Lynch, 33, and a female friend in her 30s, who was also shot and seriously injured, were the victims of random gun violence, Toronto Police said at the time.
