Agricultural rules and regulations, including those surrounding migrant worker housing, should be made consistent across the Central Okanagan, according to a new regional study.
The new agricultural plan adopted by the regional district also calls for the incorporation of Indigenous knowledge in agricultural practices, increased water conservation, and the creation of a plan to evacuate livestock in case of emergencies like wildfires.
