WALDORF, Md. — A woman sought in connection with the stabbing death of her 81-year-old grandmother was found in Waldorf on Thursday. Four days after her grandmother was found dead, another family member was severely injured.
Prince George’s County police charged 28-year-old Breante Thomas with first and second-degree murder, attempted first and second-degree murder, and related charges.
PGPD says officers were called to a home in the 500 block of Bonhill Drive in Fort Washington on Sunday. Upon arrival, officers found Helen Thomas suffering from stab wounds.
They also found a second person, a relative who they declined to identify, who’d been stabbed. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
