U.S. President Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer offered starkly different views on a host of global issues on Thursday, but still managed to agree to disagree.

In a sign of how close the two leaders have become, Mr. Trump showed uncharacteristic deference toward Mr. Starmer during a joint press conference that marked the end of the President’s state visit to Britain.

Mr. Trump repeatedly complimented Mr. Starmer and shied away from challenging him on their differences regarding issues such as Gaza, Ukraine, wind power and immigration.
