There is a mixed consensus from Rutland County’s area school boards about whether it would be beneficial to start redistricting talks before the state’s task force has finished its work.

The School District Redistricting Task Force, created by landmark education bill Act 73, began its work developing at least three new, consolidated maps of the state’s school districts in August.
