Joan Vassos isn’t going to let TV get in the way of her I do’s

Over a year after The Golden Bachelorette star and fiancé Chock Chapple got engaged during the finale of her inaugural season, she shared why the couple likely won’t have a televised wedding like now-divorced Golden Bachelor couple Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist .

“People say, ‘Will you get married on TV?’” Joan explained during a Sept. 17 episode of The Tangle podcast with Kyle Ridley . “It hasn’t been offered to us."

Indeed, while Joan admitted that she and her fiancé—who got engaged during the July 2024 finale of The Golden Bachelorette —have been offered “amazing things” through their time as reality stars, she said they haven’t been given that opportunity.
