KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Tennessee College of Applied Technology Knoxville (TCAT) and Roane State Community College (RSCC) celebrated the countdown until the grand opening of their Knox Regional Health Science Education Center in January with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday.
RSCC has partnered with TCAT Knoxville to build a new health science education building to meet the growing demand for healthcare workers in East Tennessee.
“I think the first discussion of this came about 20 years ago, when we started talking about master planning and the need for expansion of healthcare in the greater Knoxville and East Tennessee region,” said President of RSCC Chris Whaley.
