A Brockton man is facing charges in connection with a hit-and-run crash that took the life of another man earlier this month, the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Dominick Leite, 30, pleaded not guilty to motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation and leaving the scene of a crash resulting in death in connection with the death of 41-year-old Holden Depina during his arraignment on Thursday, the district attorney’s office said in a press release .

On Sept. 3, Massachusetts State Police were informed that a pedestrian who’d been injured in a hit-and-run crash in Brockton a few days prior had died of his injuries at a hospital, the district attorney’s office said.
