ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

Albuquerque police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened near Juan Tabo Boulevard and Spain Road northeast on Thursday.

Albuquerque police say officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 5400 block of Edwards Drive NE on Thursday afternoon. Once officers arrived at the scene, they found an adult male who had died after being shot.

Police say one person is detained and being questioned.

Police haven't released any other details.
