MINNEAPOLIS — Airport officials at MSP are flying high after JD Power named the airport the best in the nation for customer satisfaction earlier this week.
Less than 24 hours after receiving the award, the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) held its annual ‘State of the Airport Luncheon’ to share the highlights at MSP this year.
MAC Executive Director and CEO Brian Ryks highlighted several major projects at MSP, including the $242 million Airport Modernization Program (AMP) at Terminal One.
The project includes new flooring in several of the concourses, new wall finishes, new lighting, and new gate improvements at Delta gates.
The AMP project will be completed by the end of the year.
Ryks also highlighted an ongoing project at Terminal Two that includes more than 160,000 additiona
