The Rankin County Sheriff’s Department has arrested three individuals in connection with a vandalism and theft incident at a 24/7 laundry business on Old Fannin Road near the Reservoir.

Deputies responded around noon Thursday after receiving reports that suspects had damaged a change machine and stolen the money inside. Investigators reviewed surveillance footage from the laundry and nearby businesses, identifying a white Mercedes SUV as the suspect vehicle.

Working with law enforcement agencies across the 20th Judicial District, investigators linked the suspects to similar crimes in both Florence and Ridgeland.

The suspects were later located in Jackson, where investigators, in collaboration with the Capitol Police Department, conducted surveillance before making the arrests.
