A juvenile male was killed and an adult was seriously injured in a shooting at a south Savannah apartment complex Thursday afternoon.

Savannah Police Deparment responded to the Montgomery Landing apartment complex at 3:36 p.m. after a Shotspotter report detected gunfire, according to SPD Public Information Officer Neil Penttila.

It's unclear if the juvenille died before or after EMS responded, but the adult was taken to Memorial Health University Medical Center for further treatment.

Penttila said no arrests have been made at the time of publication.
