SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - “Truck driver appreciation week” continued with Great West Casualty Company handing out more gifts to truckers.
On Tuesday, Sept. 16, they were in Salix, Iowa, and on Thursday, Sept. 18, they were at the Jefferson Weigh Station on Interstate 29 near Jefferson, South Dakota.
They gave the truckers goodie bags that had food, gifts and an atlas. It’s a way for Great West to show its appreciation to truck drivers and all that they do.
“Because truckers really move the economy in the United States from the food and the medicines we take to the fuel that is our vehicles, as well as the building materials that build our houses, are all brought by trucks, so it’s really important to thank these drivers,” said Executive Vice President, Great West Casualty Company Terry Keime.
