AUSTIN (KXAN) — When former Liberty Hill head coach Kent Walker left the program to take over in Blanco, folks wondered if the Panthers would still be committed to their signature Slot-T offense.

No need to wonder. New head coach David Seaborn loves it, too.

The Panthers (1-2) head to The Pfield for the District 15-5A2 opener with Pflugerville Connally (2-1) in Thursday's KBVO Game of the Week. Liberty Hill picked up its first win of the season last week, 33-20 over El Paso Eastlake, and the Cougars beat Bryan Rudder 35-24.

Liberty Hill ran 61 plays against Eastlake, and as a shock to no one familiar with the program's style, all were runs. Senior Bryce Muchaw chewed up the most yardage, running for 176 yards on 22 carries with a pair of touchdowns, to lead the way. The Panthers gained
