On Wednesday, Bella Hadid posted a carousel of images to Instagram suggesting she’d recently been hospitalized. In between several snaps of rainbows and golden skies, she included photos of herself getting blood drawn with tubes attached to her body in what looks like a hospital room. In one photo, she appears to be eating pizza in a treatment bed, and in another, her eyes are red and puffy. “I’m sorry I always go MIA I love you guys,” she captioned the post, seemingly addressing her recent absences from the public eye.

While Bella didn’t explain the reason for her hospitalization, her mother Yolanda Hadid posted her own Instagram dump the next day. According to her, Bella has “fought through another month of treatment” for her chronic disease. “Watching my Bella struggle in silence
