AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Soon, a house will rise on the corner of 11th and Miller Street in downtown Augusta.

The Miller House will serve as a safe haven for families with children undergoing cancer treatment at WellStar Children’s Hospital of Georgia.

The home is a project of the All in for Miller Foundation , founded by Alanda and Joe Grover in memory of their son, who passed away from cancer in 2017.

“It was a miracle. It gives me goosebumps,” Alanda said.

The street just so happens to share the same name as their 4-year-old son, Miller.
