A line of thunderstorms are pushing their way into Mid-Missouri from western Missouri this evening. Some of these storms could be on the stronger side with the main threats being wind gusts near 60 MPH and hail up to the size of quarters.

Storms will be weakening as they move eastward. Many will not get strong storms. We will be in a Storm Mode Index of 1 (0-5 scale) meaning many will not have issues, but you'll want to stay updated with the radar.

These thunderstorms will continue overnight into early on Friday morning.

There is still a very slim possibility for isolated showers on Friday afternoon, but most will stay completely dry. The cold front brining today's thunderstorms will also bring in cooler air.
