LAURELVILLE, Ohio — In Laurelville, a village tucked in the hills of Hocking County with just under 500 residents, neighbors do more than just wave from their porches — they look out for each other.
So when Brad, a well-known figure in the community , had his beloved golf cart stolen, the entire town came together to help.
"We're tight-knit, we look out after each other," Doug DeLong said.
Brad is a familiar face in Laurelville, often seen riding around town on his golf cart, checking in on neighbors and helping wherever he can.
“Brad is integral to the community. Everybody knows him,” said Hocking County Sheriff's Deputy Lynetta “Nettie” Lyon. “He is what this community is.”
“He goes to the grocery store and picks up groceries for the senior citizens when they’re sick,” added Deput
