LORAIN, Ohio (WJW) - The FOX 8 I-Team has found investigators believe a man acted alone when he shot three Lorain police officers, killing Officer Phillip Wagner.

Thursday, Elyria police released the results of their investigation, including new video of the incident and what was discovered about the suspect, Michael Parker.

In July, police said Parker ambushed officers and ultimately police shot and killed him.

Elyria police determined Parker did not necessarily plan to kill police, but just kill.

New video shows gunfire ripping into the windshield of a police cruiser.

"Our investigation revealed a chilling reality. Parker acted alone. The investigation shows Parker had an elaborate plan to inflict mass casualties," Elyria Police Chief Jim Welsh said.
