MONTAUK, New York -- Montauk is known for a lot of things like restaurants, boutiques, nightlife, and of course the beach.

Deep Hollow Ranch is something different, all right.

"It's been called the birthplace of the American cowboy," said Patrick Keogh, ranch purveyor.

"It's the oldest ranch in America. We were established in 1658, and today it's just a wonderful place to come and unplug and ride with your family," said Cate Keogh, ranch purveyor.

Cate and Patrick are the keepers of this perfect slice of paradise, or as they put it, "We run the ranch."

They're underselling.

Deep Hollow Ranch is made up of thousands of acres of sprawling hills and untouched pristine Montauk coastline.

Keeping it afloat is no easy feat.
