COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - As part of Hunger Action Month, Harvest Hope Food Bank held its annual meeting to help make sure no one in the Midlands is going hungry.

During the meeting, possible solutions were discussed for combating food insecurity in the community.

Partnering agencies were able to participate in workshops teaching best practices for food drives, grant writing and outreach.

Harvest Hope Food Bank CEO Erinn Rowe said one in five children in South Carolina is facing food insecurity.
