Former Vice President Kamala Harris caused a stir on Thursday after she accused the Trump administration of committing "an outright abuse of power" in a social media post.

"This administration is attacking critics and using fear as a weapon to silence anyone who would speak out," Harris posted on X. "Media corporations — from television networks to newspapers — are capitulating to these threats. We cannot dare to be silent or complacent in the face of this frontal assault on free speech. We, the People, deserve better."

Several MAGA-aligned commentators and internet personalities posted profane responses to Harris' post.

"Shut the f--- up, Kamala," MAGA commenter Tiffany Fong posted on X.

"Jimmy Kimmel spread lies about the assassin, the same type of lies you people use to falsely label conservatives 'fascists' until they are assassinated," Breitbart reporter Alana Mastrangelo posted on X. "No one wants to hear your bulls---."

"Is Kamala drunk again?" MAGA commentator Gunther Eagleman posted on X.

"Are you describing what your administration did with social media platforms?" Kimberly Klascic, a Trump-aligned radio show host, posted on X.

"Jimmy Kimmel didn't have to behave the way he did," MAGA media personality Shawn Farash posted on X. "That was a choice. Actions have consequences. Welcome to the Consequence Culture Era."
