Following the death of Calgary-raised hockey player Orca Wiesblatt, a family friend is working to raise funds for his family.

Wiesblatt died after a vehicle crash in the early hours of Sept. 14 . The former Calgary Hitmen player had turned 25 in June and was set to play for the ECHL’s Allen Americans in the upcoming season.
