BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board has unanimously approved a one-time, district-funded stipend to match the state stipend for employees.

Certified educators will receive $2,000 from EBR and $2,000 from the state, totaling $4,000.

Support staff will receive $1,000 from EBR and $1,000 from the state, totaling $2,000.

Based on employee feedback, the stipends will be distributed in two parts: October 28, 2025, and November 17, 2025.
