PEQUOT LAKES — Three people were injured Wednesday, Sept. 17, after two vehicles collided on Highway 371 in Crow Wing County.
The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the crash at 3:09 p.m. in Pequot Lakes. According to the crash report, a 2009 Honda Fit was northbound on the highway in the left turn lane to Patriot Avenue when it turned in front of a southbound 2010 GMC Terrain.
A passenger in the GMC, Beverly Louise Mink, 89, of Roseburg, Oregon, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. The other passenger in the GMC, Monika Lynne Hamlin, 68, of Pine River, and the driver of the Honda, John Kaliher Thoele, 91, of Nisswa, both suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s M
