Clayton Kershaw is hanging up his cleats.

The Los Angeles Dodgers star pitcher will retire at the end of the 2025 season, he announced Thursday. Friday will mark Kershaw’s final regular-season start at Dodger Stadium

Kershaw has been with the Dodgers his entire career after being drafted by the team in the first round of the 2006 MLB Draft.

A two-time World Series champion, Kershaw is also an 11-time All-Star, the 2014 National League MVP, a three-time Cy Young Award winner and 2011 Triple Crown winner.

Kershaw also won a Gold Glove in 2011 and led the NL wins and strikeouts three separate times and threw a no-hitter in 2014.

In 18 seasons, the 37-year-old has a 222-96 record, 2.54 ERA and 3,039 strikeouts across 2,844⅔ innings pitched.
