BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Heavy rains in eastern Kern County have prompted several road closures, officials said.

Multiple agencies are responding to reports of flooding in eastern Kern, Public Information Officer Aaron Mauer for CHP in Mojave said Thursday evening. Multiple crashes have also been reported along roads in eastern Kern County.

According to the California Highway Patrol's Traffic Incident Page, there are reports of flooding in Randsburg. CHP said portions of Highway 14 were flooded from Redrock Randsburg Road to Highway 395 to Garlock and the highway was closed.

Multiple cars were reported stuck in mud and parts of Highway 14 were impassable.

Tehachapi Willow Springs Road was closed from Backus Road to Highline Road, according to CHP's incident page.
