Seven people have been arrested by police investigating the stabbing deaths of two boys in Melbourne’s west.
Detectives from the homicide squad on Friday executed warrants at properties in the northern and western suburbs and arrested two 19-year-old men, an 18-year-old man, three 16-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy. They will all now be interviewed by police.
On September 6, Chol Achiek, 12, and Dau Akueng, 15, were fatally stabbed in Cobblebank , near Melton, just before 8pm. Chol was waiting for his mother to pick him up after basketball when he was ambushed. He died within 150 metres of friend Dau.
