ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - On Thursday night, the Atlanta Dream host the Indiana Fever in a series-clinching Game 3 of the first round of the WNBA Playoffs.

For the Dream to excel in the playoffs, they will need to do what they’ve done all year, lean on their All-Star Allisha Gray.

It’s easy to underestimate how good Gray has been in 2025 .

Although the softspoken All-Star is shining bright in the ATL, she’s still the same girl from Sandersville, Georgia.

Just ask her dad.

“She always let her game do her speaking, even from a little girl and sometimes, I think people are used to players being like very boisterous and outspoken,” said Dr. Alan Gray, Allisha’s dad. “We always encouraged her to always be herself and let her game do her talking.”
