BANGOR -- The Messalonskee Eagles made the trip to Bangor on Thursday to play the Rams at Cameron Stadium.

In the first half, the Eagles got things started off when a beautiful pass from their own side of the field landed directly in front of senior Alex Beckwith, who took it the distance and fought through contact to lay the shot in the back of the net and put Messalonskee up 1-0.

Later in the first half, Bangor answered back with a point blank shot from sophomore Dom Caso that found its way past the Eagles goalkeeper to even the score.

In the second half, the Eagles earned a penalty kick and a chance to take the lead, and after a beautiful fake, senior Christian Salvadori placed a miraculous shot just out of the reach of the Rams goalkeeper for the score, giving Messalonskee the lea
