BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Hot and mainly dry weather headlines the forecast as we head into the weekend.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK
Morning starts won’t be bad, but afternoon temperatures will continue to run above normal, topping out in the low to mid 90s. Stray showers can’t be ruled out, but rain chances are minimal.
WEEKEND EVENTS
Short sleeves will do it if you’re headed to Friday evening’s Live After Five in downtown Baton Rouge. Again, a stray shower isn’t completely out of the question, but things likely stay dry through the show.
Saturday’s forecast for tailgating and LSU football looks similar to what was experienced last Saturday. Afternoon highs will reach the low to mid-90s, so be sure to stay hydrated. The game itself against Southeastern won’t be so bad as the sun goes down.
