LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — Three people have been arrested in connection with a shooting into a Lincoln County home where nine people were inside, including a 16-year-old whose bedroom wall was struck by gunfire.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office said the shooting happened on Sunny Hill Drive on Aug. 30 around 11 p.m. Deputies responding to reports of gunfire found that two bullets had struck the residence, with one penetrating a window and lodging in the teenage occupant's bedroom wall. No injuries were reported.

Patrick Neal Bivens, 18, and a 15-year-old male juvenile were each charged with two counts of felony shooting into an occupied dwelling following their arrest on Sept. 15. Rachel Brooke Wagoner, 20, was charged with felony aiding and abetting.
