GRAND FORKS — Western Michigan put together an incredible 2024-25 season, winning the National Collegiate Hockey Conference's regular season title, postseason title and the NCAA national title.

Media members don't think the Broncos are going anywhere.

Western Michigan was picked to win the NCHC in the league's annual poll of 30 media members. The Broncos received 19 first-place votes.

Denver was picked to finish second and UND third. The Pioneers received four first-place votes, the Fighting Hawks five.

Arizona State was picked fourth and earned two first-place votes.

Colorado College was picked fifth, followed by Minnesota Duluth, Omaha, St. Cloud State and Miami.

UND finished fifth last season and knocked off fourth-place Omaha in the first round of the NCHC playoffs. The Fighting
