BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A large plume of smoke could clouded one of Bossier's most distinctive tourist attractions.

Reports indicate that around 6 p.m. on September 18, 2025, an electrical fire at the Horseshoe Casino prompted an emergency evacuation.

Power to the casino boat had been disconnected as the details on what sparked the fire were investigated.

The fire was determined to be caused by an electrical fire, Louisiana State Police (LSP) responded to the scene and eventually gave the all clear for power to be restored.

No injuries have been reported.
