ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (WLS) -- While not on the agenda for Thursday night's High School District 214 meeting, people with opposing views made it their own agenda to show up, speaking out on a proposal to honor Wheeling High School alum Charlie Kirk at his alma mater, which is one of multiple schools in the district.
It came after the conservative activist was killed in a shooting on a Utah college campus last week.

Two opposing petitions on Change.org have garnered thousands of signatures each.
