Opening the Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk season against Assumption College, the Mustangs were able to slip back to BCI with a 14-10 win. Article content Article content

As the clock wound its way to zero, BCI players doused head coach Jim Jeavons in a Gatorade bath.

“It was pretty rewarding,” Jeavons said of being soaked. “It means the boys are behind me.

“They knew it was my first game as a head coach. The fact they recognized that and we got the W, it takes a lot of stress off me.”

Although Jeavons is new to the head coaching position, he certainly isn’t new to the game.
