BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department held a recruitment open house at their headquarters in downtown Bowling Green, as they look to bolster the force for the next class of the Law Enforcement Academy.
“It’s an opportunity for people that are maybe interested in becoming a police officer or people that just want to know more about what the police do to come out and check out what we do here. We have representatives from all of our special assignments they can speak with. They can see equipment demonstrations. They can check out our vehicles and ask questions about the hiring process,” Recruitment Sergeant Brad Hogue with the BGPD says.
Not only is this a chance for people to see what goes on inside the police department, it also is an opportunity for the department its
