KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Vols will host the Blazers of the University of Alabama at Birmingham on Saturday .

The Vols are ranked 15 in the nation and were inches away from beating Georgia last week.

Despite that loss , there's a buzz around football team. Some local business leaders specializing in apparel said things are falling into place for another busy fall serving Vols Nation.

"We're pretty blessed with Tennessee now that all their sports are doing well," President of Bacon & Co Jed Dance said.

Dance said that Bacon & Co, founded in 1925, has existed for 100 years thanks in no small part to the Vols spirit. He said the founders made university-themed apparel that people bought their apparel as a tourist souvenir, as well as for athletics.
