DICKINSON — A nine day break seems to have served the Jamestown High School boys soccer team well.

The Jays picked up win No. 4 of the season, dispatching Dickinson 1-0 to move to 4-5-0 in the Western Dakota Association standings. The Blue Jays will be back at their home field on Saturday hosting Williston beginning at 2 p.m.

The first half was a scoreless affair between the Jays and Mavericks but 27 minutes into the second half, John Belzer landed his first goal of the year off an assist from Miles Anderson. Jamestown put 11 shots on goal while Dickinson's one shot was saved by Blue Jay goalkeeper Evan Harty.
