RAPID CITY, S.D. (KELO) -- September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and organizations across the state are sharing uplifting messages for anyone who is struggling mentally or emotionally.
For the past 4 years, Lost & Found has been spreading positive messages on the sidewalks that many students at the South Dakota School of Mines walk every day.
"A lot of people do look down when they walk, it's kind of a running joke that we place all of our flyers for our clubs on the ground because that's where people look, so I think it's a really good idea especially at this campus to have the messages on the ground so people can just see them while they're walking," Lost & Found Student Chapter Vice President Taylee Schramm said.
