ABC57. ---Former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg returned to Indiana today, speaking at the Indianapolis Statehouse to rally Democrats against proposed changes to the state’s congressional map.
Buttigieg called for lawmakers to reject any early redistricting, a move he says would be driven by political pressure from Washington ahead of the 2026 midterms. He labeled the redrawing effort as gerrymandering and urged the audience to hold their representatives accountable.
