To commemorate Constitution Day , University of Michigan students and community members assembled at the Ford School of Public Policy Tuesday evening for a panel titled “What Does the U.S. Constitution Say?” . During two sessions with three U-M faculty each, attendees heard short lectures and asked questions on important legal concepts found within and significant to the text of the Constitution.
The lectures centered on why understanding the Constitution is important for U-M students and community members. All attendees also received a free pocket-sized copy of the Constitution.
