Joplin led 14-0 before the end of the first quarter on Thursday night at Glendale High School and it had expanded that to a 35-point lead right up until the final moments of the second half.

The Eagles only failed to score on two of their drives against the Falcons' defense in the first half on the way to a 35-6 halftime lead. They went on to control the game and burn the clock in the second half earning a 42-21 win. ×
