WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - Wichita State men's basketball held an open practice on the floor of Charles Koch Arena on Thursday. With the season opener quickly approaching, a little less than two months before tipoff, it was an excellent chance for fans to get an early look at the team.
About 100 people showed up to watch, getting a first look at all the work this new roster put in during the offseason as they aim to be the best in The American Conference and make a deep NCAA Tournament run.
The Shockers' roster is much different than what many fans saw in years past. The majority of upperclassmen are entering their first season at Wichita State, with recruiting from the transfer portal being an essential part of coach Paul Mills' offseason.
Mills confident in the way he went about it, acqui
